This is great because it can help you snap out of the immersion long enough to realize that, indeed, your stomach hurts with hunger, or your dry throat is parched, or even all that dancing you have been doing in your chair is not because the combat was so wildly exciting (though that might have helped), but instead it is because you need to badly take a trip to the bathroom.

World of Warcraft also features controls that limit how long a person can play it. Parents ought to love that idea! Mom and Dad can set up schedules for play time on weekdays and weekends, and completely restrict access to the game during school hours. Sorry the game doesn’t come with a feature to make sure your child has finished all their homework, and it cannot allow access automatically by checking their grades before it lets them log in. But that is a great idea, right!

Engrossing as it is, it is a great game of great fun and social interaction. Adventures are compelling and tickle the imagination over and over again.
